Conditions:

Position: Chef(Full-time, Permanent)

Wage: CAD$ 34.65/hour

Working hours: 30-35 hours per week

Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of secondary school
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of commercial cooking experience
  • Language: English

Job Duties:

  • Supervise works of cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook Japanese food from menu
  • Make an adjustment to dishes for customers with dietary restrictions
  • Train cooks in preparation, cooking and presentation of food
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques to cooks
  • Create new recipes
  • Maintain records of food consumption and inventory
  • Ensure food meets quality standards
