Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience preferred; entry-level considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation activities.
• Move and distribute soil, gravel, sand, and other materials.
• Assist equipment operators with ground-level tasks and site prep.
• Perform manual digging, shoveling, leveling, and compacting as needed.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
• Support drainage, trenching, foundations, and general earthworks.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Assist supervisors and skilled workers with other construction duties.

• Assist with drainage, trenching, foundations, and general earthworks.

• Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.
• Support supervisors and skilled workers with other construction duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous construction, earthworks, excavation, or general labour experience is an asset.
• 0-2 years of experience; entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Experience working around heavy equipment is an advantage.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset.
