Job summary

Prince Albert Early Years Family Resource Centre (EYFRC) is seeking a Program Facilitator in Prince Albert. You will work under the EYFRC Coordinator, delivering child development information, parenting education, and family supports to diverse families in a respectful, welcoming setting.

The role involves planning and delivering play-based sessions for ages 0-5 and caregivers, coordinating programming across four EYFRC pillars, and connecting families with community resources as needed.

Qualifications

• ECE certification is preferred.
• Experience with children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will be considered.
• Develop, deliver and support programming in the Centre that meets EYFRC pillars: early learning, parenting education, family wellness and information/referrals.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, learning-rich environment for drop-in play and scheduled programming.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate play-based learning and sessions for children and parents.
• Plan, organize and facilitate activities reflecting child development milestones.
• Maintain and regularly update the Centre environment and equipment.
• Administer Ages and Stages Questionnaires when requested by families.
• Provide information or referrals to outside agencies as needed.
• Assist with event planning at the EYFRC and other duties as assigned.
