United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate for a 2900 Steeles Ave W, Concord, ON location. The role involves physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced warehouse, including loading and unloading packages and sorting shipments by postal codes.

Shifts are 3–5 hours, Tue–Sat, with a minimum of 25 hours per week. The position offers union progression, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a Fortune 50 company.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate’s position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.

Job Type & Location

Part-Time - Permanent

Work Location: 2900 Steeles Ave W, Concord On L4K3S2

Workdays: Tuesday to Saturday-4:00am to 9:00am Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day *(Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times). **All Applicants must work a minimum 25 hrs/ week**

Responsibilities and Duties

• Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
• Sort and stock packages based on postal codes

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg)
• Full availability to work Monday to Saturday
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset)

Compensation and Benefits

• $18.50/hr. / automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement.
• Unionized position with automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate of $36.53/hr. after 48 months of service)
• Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance)

• Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit- Every Friday

Expenses/Working Conditions

• Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month)
• A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)
