Job summary

Carroll Community School District seeks a Teacher Associate in the Tiger Zone Child Care program at Fairview Elementary (PK-2). The role requires arriving early, supervising children, and maintaining order until dismissal. You will track attendance and adhere to health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Demonstrated aptitude for childcare work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with staff, parents and students.
• Completion of listed trainings (pre-service, CACFP, development).
• First Aid/CPR certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be at the designated location approximately ten minutes before children arrive.
• Remain at the designated location until the last child leaves and the childcare area is in order.
• Keep daily attendance records.
• Follow school procedures to safeguard health and safety of children.
• Know emergency file and emergency procedures.
• Report persistent behavior problems to the director and arrange substitutes when needed.
• Attend orientation sessions and in-service meetings during the year.
