Early Childhood Educator - Sweet Dreams ELC

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. - EGADZ is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a full-time position at the Sweet Dreams Early Learning Centre (ELC). The role involves providing a safe, supportive environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, aimed at supporting young families and reducing childcare barriers faced by EGADZ clients.

The primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality care with a non-judgmental attitude, promoting all areas of child development to ensure each child's well-being.

Responsibilities

1. Complete supervision of children.
2. Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the Centre’s philosophy.
3. Differentiate curriculum and activities to meet individual needs.
4. Support children's development and behavior, fostering positive self-concept.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
6. Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure comprehensive care.
7. Communicate openly, caringly, and respectfully with parents at all times.

Qualifications

• ECE I, II, or III certification.
• Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector (within the last 6 months).

Wage starting at $16.00 per hour.
