The Support Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will work alongside the Lead ECE to understand and respond to children's learning needs, prepare materials, organize learning centers, observe children's activities and progress, and facilitate movement between activities. The Support ECE will contribute to creating a respectful, stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment, working under the supervision of the Lead ECE and reporting to the Supervisor of the Pre-Primary Program.

Rate of Pay :
This is a 10-month position aligned with the school calendar, including time off during Christmas, March Break, and summer. The starting annual salary is $37,648.56, paid over 12 months (August 1 to July 31) for the 10-month work period. ECEs are paid biweekly.
For positions less than a full school year, the salary is pro-rated accordingly.
Hours of Work :
Support ECEs work 6.5 hours daily, including a ½ hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks, Monday to Friday.
