Please note : We are currently only looking to hire On-Call Supply ECEs at this time!

Responsibilities

  • Implement an Emergent Curriculum that supports individual development
  • Maintain daily documentation, reporting, and attendance records
  • Support children’s emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral development
  • Collaborate with professionals like Speech or Occupational Therapists as needed
  • Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance, including room ratios
  • Participate actively in team meetings, workshops, and classroom transitions

Qualifications

  • Registered ECE in the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry
  • Up-to-date Immunizations, including 2-step TB test
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (Level B or C)
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
