Education

• College/CEGEP in Early Childhood Education and Teaching or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Assess children's development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement child-care programs to support children's development.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Engage children in activities through storytelling and crafts.
• Observe children for potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports.
• Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of early childhood educators and assistants.
