Houle, a leading electrical contractor and systems integrator in BC, seeks a Security Systems Technician for Prince George. You will install, configure, and commission Security, Access Control and Healthcare systems on diverse job sites, including CCTV and nurse call, while interpreting drawings and collaborating with customers.

You will troubleshoot, service, and program systems, maintain records, and train users on Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC and Avigilon.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Security Technician Trade Qualification or be a Certified Electrician with experience installing Security or Healthcare Technologies.
• Experience on active construction sites.
• Hold a valid Security Alarm Installer License or be willing to obtain it.
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Security Technologies, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion/Burglar Alarms, RTLS, Patient Wandering Alerts, Networks and Communication electronics.
• Knowledge of Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon products would be an asset.
• Experience on hospital/healthcare construction projects is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and commission electrical Security, Access Control and Healthcare systems across various job sites (CCTV, Video surveillance, Access Doors, Intrusion, Nurse Call, RTLS).
• Interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure correct installations in residential, commercial and healthcare buildings.
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot and resolve technical system problems.
• Provide ongoing service, repairs and programming; maintain accurate install/service records.
• Program and integrate Security and Access Control systems; train users on Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon.
