Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring an Early Childhood Educator-Level 1 to join our Okotoks team. You will work closely with teachers and families to provide a nurturing, home-like environment for children, delivering developmentally appropriate activities.

You will participate in ongoing professional development, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a warm, inclusive classroom community that supports children’s growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• ECE certification or B.Ed./Equivalent required.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization/health assessment as per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assess abilities, interests, and needs of children; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities; participate in ongoing learning.
• Keep classroom materials clean and organized; assist with daily routines.
