Job summary

A licensed daycare provider is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Assistant in Regina. Wage: $22.50/hour, 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Day shift, Morning, To be determined

Responsibilities
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and issues
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience is an asset
