Job Responsibilities
- Assess children's development to prepare tailored learning plans.
- Bat, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Synthesize children's overall situation and communicate with parents.
- Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
- Engage children with storytelling, singing, and crafts.
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Certificates, Licences, and Courses
- Emergency childcare first aid and CPR certification.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Willingness to relocate for the position.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
