Job summary

A leading childcare center in Powell River seeks an Early Childhood Educator to plan and supervise activities for children. Qualifications

• Holds an ECE certificate recognized by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
• Completed Emergency First Aid CPR - Child Care training.
• Fluency in French required.

• Hold an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate that meets the criteria of the Ministry of Children and Family Development of the Government of British Columbia
• Emergency First Aid CPR – Child Care training
• Proof of a clear criminal record
• Must be fluent in French

List of Duties

• Plan, lead, and supervise games and recreational, educational, cultural, artistic, and sports activities in French, tailored to the age and interests of the students
• Ensure constant supervision of all children under your responsibility
• Maintain clear communication with parents and staff
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children
• The daycare centre “Les Petits de la Côte du Soleil” is an early childhood centre located in Powell River, British Columbia
• The daycare is managed by the Association francophone de qathet (formerly known as Le Club Bon Accueil de Powell River), the region’s Francophone cultural centre
• The team of educators provides high-quality educational services in French to children and their families. Their educational values focus on connecting with nature, the arts, and learning the French language
