Tasks
- Assess children's development to prepare tailored learning plans.
- Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain daycare equipment.
- Storytelling and engaging children through stories, songs, and activities.
- Synthesize children's overall situation and communicate with parents.
- Lead activities, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
- Assist in record-keeping with early childhood educators or supervisors.
- Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
- Prepare snacks and organize rooms for lunch and rest periods.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
- Plan and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure environment for children.
