Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assess the children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
