Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.
  • Ensure that programs develop, engage members, address healthy positive child development and provide members with a sense of belonging.
  • Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children
  • Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians
  • Ensure that specific goals of the children and programs are met

Qualifications:

  • Early Childhood Assistant Certification is required
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Successful completion of Agency screening process, including a criminal record check

This position is open to all applicants.

This position requires union membership.

Hours: 25 hours, Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: $20.60 per hour plus $6 hourly ECEWE for proof ECE license, cost shared benefits, paid vacation and sick time.
