Overview:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant to support our educators and help create a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supervising playtime, and promoting children’s development. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support early childhood educators in organizing activities that encourage children’s physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
  2. Engage children in creative activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  3. Prepare and serve snacks while arranging spaces for meals and rest time.
  4. Assist children with eating, dressing, and bathroom routines.
  5. Ensure daycare equipment is in good condition and help with general housekeeping and meal preparation.
  6. Observe children’s behavior and report findings to educators or supervisors.
  7. Help educators and supervisors with maintaining records and documentation.
  8. Take part in staff meetings to discuss children’s development and address any issues.

Requirements:
1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours a week

Experience: 7 months to less than a year

Starting date: As soon as possible

Pay: Salary $26/hour
