Job Description

As an Early Career Environmental Scientist/Engineer in Vancouver, you will be involved in the assessment, monitoring, management, and remediation of contaminated sites. Your role will include hands-on work at various project sites, supporting the full project lifecycle, and assisting with budgeting, planning, data analysis, and reporting. Your initiative and positive attitude will be recognized with growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in environmental site assessments, remediation, and monitoring programs
• Conduct sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, vapour, and surface water
• Assist in preparing technical reports
• Support project planning, coordination, and tracking
• Contribute to technical and financial proposals

Qualifications/Education/Memberships

• Degree or diploma in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in contaminated site work, including assessments and remediation
• Willingness to work remotely and away from home occasionally
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements for oil & gas, construction, and contaminated sites
• Ability to work independently and in teams, including remote locations
• Professional status or eligibility (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., etc.)
• Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle preferred but not required
