PRIMARY PURPOSE
The EAM Inventory Management Process Lead provides senior level business oversight of the system functionality, enhancement, and change management requirements specific to BCRTC Finance and Supply Chain with a focus on inventory related end-to-end business processes to optimize the EAM system. This role leads the business support by working with internal teams at BCRTC and TransLink’s EAM and FSM sustainment teams in the resolution and implementation of system changes for break fix, end user requested enhancements, and system updates/releases. This role ensures that the EAM and FSM systems are integrated, cohesive and effectively ensure the accuracy, integrity, safekeeping, and management of all inventory and related financials.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversees the BCRTC change requirements and processes related to EAM transactions, process flows and the integration of EAM with FSM to ensure inventory is accurate and complete. Oversees the development and implementation of EAM and FSM business processes (for BCRTC Finance and Supply Chain/Warehouse Management) and service excellence solutions that align with client needs and technical priorities.
Builds and maintains effective relationships with key business stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to optimize the system and meet the needs of the business (as it specifically relates to an MRO environment).
Oversees the development and implementation including training and process documentation, for system changes and related updates and ensures BCRTC Finance and Supply Chain/Warehouse Management teams are trained and updated on these changes.
Works with TransLink’s EAM and FSM sustainment teams to implement the change management cycle for maintenance and minor updates including timely and effective communications and user-friendly documentation/training to drive behavior changes and adoption.
Oversees maintenance and documentation of system controls; analyzes the system and data to identify risks or opportunities and recommends changes as required to ensure system and data integrity.
Oversee BCRTC enhancement or upgrade projects that focus on EAM and FSM data flows and integration, and any other business/process needs specific to inventory, repairs, warehousing, and stores. Collaborates with Asset Management Office (AMO), TransLink’s EAM and FSM sustainment teams, and BCRTC business stakeholders as necessary to support required enterprise system integrations.
Oversees the development and continuous improvement of EAM and FSM reporting to support relevant stakeholders in BCRTC Finance, Purchasing and Stores; receive and interpret report requests from customers.
Ensures business continuity plans specific to area of accountability are properly maintained and relevant stakeholders are properly trained.
Supervises and provides leadership to direct reports, including training, selection, performance management and all other aspects of people management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The requirements for this job are acquired through a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or equivalent and four (4) years of experience in supporting Financial or Supply Chain in a related industry or complex unionized environment.
Advanced knowledge of modern Enterprise Resource Planning System and processes. Experience with Hexagon EAM and INFOR FSM, SCMP or CPA designation will be an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Solid interpersonal and communication skills to provide advice on best practices on Financial Management and Supply Chain Management as it relates to an MRO environment. Capability to train users at all levels of the organization with an ability to communicate to a technical audience and business users.
Solid planning and organizational skills to address systems information needs of both Finance and Supply Chain functional areas.
Solid analytical skills to address systems-based requirements and perform analysis on a range of complex inventory requirements (Stocked, Non-stocked, Expensed and Capital) related issues and process large volume of information from reports.
Solid problem-solving skills to diagnose day-to-day operation of Finance and Supply Chain systems-related issues/requirements and troubleshoot solutions.
Solid leadership skills to provide full scope of supervision to reporting role
Advanced decision-making skills to respond, assess and react to a variety of operational and emergency situations.
Solid experience working with a diverse team in a unionized environment with knowledge of the application of collective agreements, work rules, policies, and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of Standard Office tools including word processing and spreadsheet software and use of web-based systems, database systems and reporting tools.
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Salary $89,600 - $134,400 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
