Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. specializes in developing and manufacturing new therapeutics, providing contract research & development services to global pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The successful candidate will work on research, development, and implementation of process technologies for API manufacturing. Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning and executing experiments in R&D laboratories
  2. Data analysis, interpretation, and documentation
  3. Developing safe processes based on thermal hazard assessments
  4. Maintaining a safe, organized laboratory environment
  5. Technology transfer to manufacturing facilities

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry; experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is an asset
  • B.Sc. in Chemistry with over 10 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and hands-on experience in synthesizing complex organic molecules
  • Experience in process scale-up, raw material sourcing, and working within regulatory constraints is an asset
  • Highly motivated with a proven success record in multiple projects
  • Well-organized with the ability to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
