Retail Merchandiser (Part Time) - Moncton, NB E1C 2T8
Job Summary
Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Retail Merchandiser is a part-time role that is an integral part of the field merchandising team. The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for maintaining Hallmark Canada departments within pharmacy, grocery, or big box retailers in mass channel accounts, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising of products according to a master schedule and merchandising plan.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Support merchandising services with inventory management and activities in assigned retail accounts, including seasonal products and change outs.
- Maintain scheduled service visits weekly, adhering to budgets that vary based on retail occasions, especially around major seasons.
- Follow merchandising plans, productivity standards, and schedules upon receiving instructions. Provide feedback to the Territory Manager to improve processes. React flexibly to issues on-site that interfere with plans.
- Support coverage for vacant accounts, holiday periods, and seasonal peak demands.
- Assist with department revisions, remerchandising, relocations, and new store installations as needed.
Communication Skills
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Territory Manager regarding upcoming programs and in-store activities.
- Liaise with account management as a Hallmark representative, building strong relationships with store management.
- Communicate clearly with the Territory Manager to ensure accounts are serviced and merchandised to retail standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- Retail experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong knowledge of Smartphone technology and email management skills.
