Position: Weekend Shift Shop QA/QC Inspector

Location: SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible)

Accountabilities:

• Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
• Have 2+ years of previous Quality Control experience
• Possess CSTS-09/2020 ticket or a valid Common Safety Orientation ticket
• Understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safe work practices and procedures
• Perform dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
• Record weld symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
• Prepare documentation and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
• Install nameplates and coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors, and Client TPI's
• Complete Quality Control paperwork accurately
• Work effectively in a manufacturing environment with other trades present
• Perform outside/inside work, sometimes in inclement weather conditions
• Meet physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 60 lbs, working at heights, and maneuvering on/off equipment and ladders
• Experience with welding, ASME equipment, and piping is an asset
