An established industry player in marine hospitality is seeking a dedicated Marine Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of its fleet. This full-time role requires a proactive individual who can lead maintenance and repairs on Transport Canada inspected vessels. You'll be responsible for supervising services, maintaining compliance, and assisting in budget management. The Marine Engineer is a team player who assists with planning, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and other associated tasks as outlined below. The individual maintains the vessels to provide our guests as well as our team with a safe, reliable and aesthetically pleasing fleet.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to or exceeding 50lbs may be required. The marine hospitality business functions outside typical business hours. During the operating season, hours outside of a regular Monday- Friday schedule can be expected.
