Our Brentwood Branch is located right at our Burnaby Head Office. You’ll be independently managing this location so the ideal candidate would need to have sound judgement and the ability to juggle competing priorities. You’ll be leading a small team of road agents.

Requirements
  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • 1+ year experience in an insurance sales environment
  • 1+ year experience in auto insurance
  • Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent Insurance Product knowledge
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, good judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
A Day in the Life
  • Work towards developing a high performing and engaged team in collaboration with the Leadership team
  • Provide feedback for team member performance reviews
  • Maximize resources through effective scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with all insurer (ICBC, CNS, Family etc.), Insurance Council of BC, and Privacy Act rules and regulations
  • Manage ICBC inventory and handle all documents and funds correctly
  • Support continuous improvement, organization, and efficiency of the branch
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding corporate and employee issues
  • Manage sales, retention, and service needs of clients, balancing responsibilities as an Insurance Advisor and Team Lead
  • Handle and resolve client and dealership concerns proactively
  • Occasionally act as backup at the dealership, if required
  • Ensure employees understand HUB’s mission, values, and goals
  • Stay current with education and training opportunities to develop skills
  • Provide guidance and support to the team, leading by example
  • Delegate tasks appropriately
