Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting full-time career, where development and high performance are valued? AbbVie Canada is seeking a Specialty Representative to join our commercial sales team. This role will primarily cover the territories of Quebec City, Chicoutimi, and Rimouski.

Our Specialty Representatives develop robust business plans to execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, deliver sales performance, and effectively build strong customer relationships to support customer needs, aiming to maximize both short- and long-term sales performance. All efforts will be patient-centered and conducted within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build strong partnerships with customers and accounts; develop a high-quality territory plan.
  2. Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed business goals.
  3. Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
  4. Support key stakeholders' needs, expectations, and challenges proactively to build trusted relationships.
  5. Execute call plans that meet set metrics and optimize coverage of key customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  6. Continuously understand customer unmet and evolving needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, diseases, products, and clinical expertise. Share market intelligence to achieve alignment and optimize brand strategy.
  7. Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers and develop disease state experts and advocates to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven success in sales and solid presentation skills
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills
  • Passion for challenges and success
  • Excellent business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to predict outcomes and leverage findings for sales strategies

Essential Skills & Abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfort with technology and various tools/systems
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including some evenings, weekends, and overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
