22.6081 to 24.2361 per hour (Subject to Employment Status may be paid at 8% in lieu of vacation and stat holidays as per CUPE collective agreement article 6.08 (a))

JOB PURPOSE

The Inventory Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that supplies are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Must have six months of inventory experience.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.

Demonstrated proficiency verified by testing in:

  • Data Entry 3000 KSPH
  • Outlook 50%

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inventory Expeditor is responsible for:

  • Ordering and receiving general inventory supplies
  • Processing special and urgent orders
  • Receiving, unpacking, sorting and verifying supplies
  • Unloading trucks including using a fork lift to move pallets
  • Maintaining an inventory control system
  • Performing physical inventory counts
  • Performing shipping duties and preparing goods and supplies for internal deliveries
