Operator (Finance)

Reporting to the Process Supervisor or Manager Operations, the Operator is responsible for monitoring the system, including pressure, temperature, and humidity measurements on charts or monitors. Ensures timely movement of products through the facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system parameters such as pressure, temperature, and humidity.
• Adjust valves and controls for safe equipment operation.
• Observe sterilizers and auxiliary units for malfunctions and assist with repairs.
• Record process readings accurately.
• Report damaged products to the Shift or Process Supervisor.
• Report system issues to Maintenance personnel.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist Maintenance as needed.

Handle chemicals used in processing according to procedures and laws.

Participate in plant safety committees and adhere to safety regulations.

Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Supervise: Oversee Process Assistant Operators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a sterilization environment preferred.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proficient in basic math operations.
• Willing to work established shifts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform repetitive lifting and bending.
• Forklift experience required.
• Computer skills desirable.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $22/hour.
