About the Role:

The Team:

PVR Market Data GPS team is a global team of 14 split across three regions that provide market data support 22 hours per day 5 days a week. The team is critical to supporting the activities of the other PVR departments. Frequent deadlines and communications means teamwork is continuous, whilst the volume of data handled makes elements of the workload dynamic. The ideal candidate is an independent, organized, self-starter who can communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and operate with the utmost integrity.


Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Core role reviewing market data, resolving issues and performing critical quality control functions
  • Manage internal and external relationships daily, covering inbound and outbound data
  • Implement continuous improvement and contribution to idea creation
  • Work on strategic initiatives related to system and process development, to drive efficiencies and enhance the control environment
  • Develop business skills and expand financial markets and products knowledge across all major asset classes
  • Develop and apply programming knowledge

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Good degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Good understanding of financial instruments and markets in one or more asset classes
  • Programming experience in any language e.g., SQL, Python
  • Appetite for providing services to internal clients on a regular basis

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant practical experience (0-2 years)
  • Good understanding of market and reference datasets
  • Must be keen to extend knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes
  • Must embrace the importance of high service levels as part of a commercial relationship
