Job summary

An established industry player in health and well-being is seeking a dedicated Social Worker or Counselling Therapist to provide Critical Incident Response. This role involves delivering group debriefing and managing client needs with sensitivity and professionalism. Social Worker, Counselling Therapist, Counsellor - Trauma Response

Locations: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador or Prince Edward Island, any location

Summary: You will be providing group Critical Incident Response to TELUS Health's organizational clients, as an independent contractor.

What you will do:

  • Provide Critical Incident Response to our organizational clients;
  • Travel to on-site locations in NB, NS, NL or PEI;
  • Manage administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health's Trauma department.

Who we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, or social work;
  • Registration with a College or Association where a College does not exist, and valid professional liability insurance;
  • CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification is an asset;
  • Experience delivering group debriefing and/or running counselling groups;
  • Ability to convey sensitivity, professionalism, and an effective approach when facilitating interventions within the corporate environment;
  • Flexibility to respond to client needs.
