Responsibilities:

  • Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to hanging drywall, painting, installing insulation, installing trim, installing windows and doors, installing cabinetry, and framing.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials such as wood, plastic, and metal to construct or repair structures and fixtures.
  • Collaborate closely with carpenters, project managers, and fellow team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Work on projects involving the restoration of homes or businesses affected by disasters, providing essential carpentry services to help individuals and communities recover.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Carpenter's Assistant, demonstrating proficiency in various carpentry techniques and tools, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of woodworking materials, construction methods, and finishing techniques.
  • Keen interest to learn and develop your carpentry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication skills, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Valid Driver's License.
