Job description

We are hiring for Regulated Pharmacy Technicians at the following locations :

Burnaby, BC (Script Care Central Fill, Willingdon); Campbell River, BC; Duncan, BC; Maple Ridge, BC (East Maple Ridge); Salmon Arm, BC; 100 Mile House, BC

You will be responsible for :

1. Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
2. Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
3. Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic.
4. Ensuring the accuracy and performing the final check of a prepared prescription.
5. Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
6. Supporting and maintaining dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
7. Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
8. Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities.
9. Performing other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

You have :

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence and good standing with the College of Pharmacists in your province
• Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience (asset)
