Supply Chain Associate

Location: 19424 Creek Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93314

Store: CABAE Public Store

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

Overview

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. You will manage inventory and support business-to-business operations by handling procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and drive business success. This position is based at our branch located at 19424 Creek Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93314.

Responsibilities
  • Managing branch inventory levels
  • Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
  • Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
  • Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
  • Supporting accounts receivable activities
  • Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
  • Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or have relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
  • Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbs
  • Pass drug screen and background check as applicable

Benefits & Compensation

Part-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan with employer contributions. The pay range for this position is $17/hr - $22/hr.
