Position : Seasonal Videographer / Camera Operator

Duration : February - June 2025

Role Overview :

DanceBUG is seeking passionate and skilled Videographers / Camera Operators to join our dynamic team.

This role involves traveling nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and manage video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site.
  • Conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure quality.
  • Record and log performances as well as manage the live broadcast.
  • Upload and / or ship data as required.
  • Communicate with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts weekly.
  • Travel to events as required.

Requirements :

  • 4+ years as a Videographer / Camera Operator.
  • Expertise in camera settings and audio management.
  • Proficiency with Windows and basic editing software (DaVinci, Premiere a plus).
  • Ability to manage data and work “production” hours.
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Paid training in February.
  • All travel and accommodation expenses are covered.
  • Singular occupancy hotel room is provided.
  • Travel time is paid.
  • All equipment is provided.
