Your role at Vantive
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled technical leader to join our team. As the R&D IT Site Application COE Lead, you will be responsible for managing Business, Commercial and Corporate IT applications and serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all information technology-related requirements for the site. You will manage a team of FTEs/Partners and be responsible for ensuring the applications and systems support the research and development activities of the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the R&D IT application AMS support and serve as the SPOC for site specific applications.
- Responsible for onboarding new/existing applications to AMS project.
- Application COE SPOC for managing Business, Commercial and Corporate IT applications across the globe.
- Good understanding of SLA management and application health check monitoring process.
- SME in .Net Framework hosted applications and technologies.
- Good knowledge of Problem Management and its lifecycle, also coordinate PRs till closure.
- Good experiences in Ticket/Incident Management.
- Handle MIM calls for all P1/P2 incident/tickets reported by helpdesk.
- Ensure Complete testing of applications, post any changes and patch deployments in every maintenance cycle.
- Manage a team of FTEs and Partners to ensure the smooth operation of our IT applications and systems.
- Ensure efficient onboarding of new employees and ensure their IT needs are met and manage the offboarding/exit process for departing employees.
- Monitor the helpdesk ticketing queue and SLA adherence.
- Provide in-country support for R&D IT applications and software tools including applications to external partners and other locations.
- Serve as the SPOC for R&D site applications related requirements.
- Coordinate with local data center support including server/storage, Linux infra, and regular health monitoring, OS patches, and updates.
- Direct backup and restoration, BCP/DRP documentation, and yearly testing.
- Oversee on-premises applications and tools support, including IBM Rational Doors, DCC, PDM Link, license server, and other local applications.
- Coordinate with Infosec for any security incidents and participate in regular compliance reviews & audits.
- Review and manage access requests.
- Participate in new projects, including project coordination and implementation.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 12+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on IT application support and operation management.
- Proven experience in managing a team of FTEs and CWs.
- Experience with IT application management and compliance.
- Strong understanding of IT QA activities, including IQ/OQ and computer system validation.
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing and SLA adherence.
- Strong knowledge of local data center support, including server/storage, Linux infra, and regular health monitoring, OS patches, and updates.
- Experience with backup and restoration, BCP/DRP documentation, and yearly testing.
- Strong understanding of on-premises applications and tools support.
- Experience with IT procurement and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of budget forecasting and tracking, and invoice approval.
- Experience with coordination with Infosec for any security incidents and regular compliance review.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Software Platforms: .Net or Java
- Database: Oracle and MySQL
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Java Scripts.
- Solid programming and debugging skills
- Operating System: Microsoft, Linux.
