What is the opportunity?
As part of the Group Risk Management team, the Director is responsible for the primary adjudication and decision making with respect to the approval and amendment of new and existing credit commitments across RBC's Real Estate Development Lending Portfolio. Directors are tasked with the review and recommendation of generally large credit exposures facing a client base that principally includes top tier Canadian developers. Experienced Directors are generally expected to be able to provide transaction structuring advice to mitigate risks, comprehensively understand the risk profiles of transactions, and communicate recommendations to leadership including senior executives. You will focus on maintaining portfolio quality, alignment with the business, operational effectiveness, sharing best practices with business partners and working towards high level of efficiency in management of assigned portfolios, and enhancing the client experience.
