Summary of Duties :

Reporting to the Division Manager, Water Operations, the Manager, Water Quality is responsible under the Safe Drinking Water Act for the corporation's compliance with the Drinking Water Quality Management System and daily monitoring of drinking water to ensure compliance under Ontario Regulation 170. This role involves working in a team environment alongside environmental specialists to develop short- and long-term water quality work plans, budgets, policies, and related initiatives. The Manager collaborates with technical staff to implement programs and provides expertise on water quality for City projects in coordination with other City Managers.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• University Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five to seven years of experience in water compliance programs and water quality management systems, including management responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information :

$100,395 - $131,441. This is a permanent, full-time position. Current hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work is on-site. Hours and arrangements are subject to change based on business needs.
