Organization Overview

Shared Health coordinates patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba, delivers province-wide health services, and supports administrative functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

The incumbent provides receptionist and clerical support for Security Services, including data entry and management of Photo Identification (ID) and access systems for the Security Services Department at HSC.

Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of related experience, preferably at HSC.
  • High school diploma (Manitoba standards) required.
  • Recognition in secretarial training program required; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Typing speed of 50 wpm required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of HSC Payroll Coding, Data Entry systems, Incident Reporting, and Perspective preferred.
  • Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Preference for candidates proficient in Indigenous languages or knowledgeable about Indigenous customs and traditions.
Additional Information

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks. Candidates are responsible for any service charges. The security check is valid if obtained within six months prior to employment start date.
