The following career opportunity for a Jr. Portal Developer/Systems Analyst in the Microsoft SharePoint/.NET technologies space is currently available with the Application Technology Delivery: Corporate Systems team.

Jr. Sharepoint Portal Developer $40k – $50k

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Jr. Developer will work in a team environment to implement business solutions and proactively maintain the Portal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Proactively support, administer and maintain the Portal and related sites, utilizing Microsoft technologies and 3rd party/custom web parts in order to meet SLA targets.
2. Participate in incident investigations and problem resolution to production issues.
3. Gather, analyze and document business requirements for operational and tactical solutions leveraging the Portal and related infrastructure.
4. Build, test, document and implement operational, tactical and strategic solutions within the Portal and related infrastructure.
5. Installation, configuration, maintenance and performance tuning of systems environment components and application.
6. Ability to work independently and closely with peers within a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

1. Minimum 2-years experience with Web design/development, Portal/Collaboration, Content Management and Application Development with Microsoft technologies.
2. Technical experience and in-depth knowledge of:

• SPS/WSS/K2.NET/MCMS
• C#.NET/ASP.NET
• CSS/HTML/XHTML/DHTML
• SQL/SQL Server
• Web Services .NET Frameworks
• XML/Infopath/AD/SMTP
• VisualStudio, SourceSafe, PVCS, VPC, FrontPage, IIS, Windows Advanced Server (Microsoft’s Server Suite)
• Experience in Portal design/implementation, administration, capacity planning and system integration using Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with Internet/Intranet and Collaboration technologies.
• The ability to carry forward tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficient English written and verbal skills.
• Excellent documentation skills (preliminary analysis, design, program specifications, test plans, etc.).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• The ability to collaborate and share ideas in a team environment.
• The ability to organize and plan own work.
