Job description

We are partnered with a rapidly scaling, publicly-funded organization whose mission is to help clients save time and money while shopping the insurance marketplace. They have built relationships with top carriers over the past 20 years to allow for a one-stop-shop experience at the lowest rates.

A successful candidate for this role will have experience in sales retention as well as knowledge of Medicare products. You will handle calls from existing customers to provide enrollment support, benefit solutions, and added services for Medicare. This position requires an active insurance license in South Carolina.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Health Insurance License required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service
  • Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with both consumers and co-workers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and performance-driven environment
  • Must be able to successfully complete all licensing requirements (with financial help) or have a pre-existing valid insurance license
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with existing members to assist with navigating new health insurance plans
  • Provide expertise in plan offerings, policies, and procedures
  • Learn insurance product offerings from several insurance carriers such as major medical, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, prescription drug plans, and other ancillary health products
  • Be a brand ambassador by providing an excellent consumer experience and enjoy helping the aging and disabled community
  • Meet set personal and team performance and sales goals
  • Continue to increase your insurance expertise by completing training and insights
