Description

Summary:
The Operation Transformation Specialist role serves as a facilitative lead and proactive coach of improvement activities by building relationships with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front-line care teams, and other stakeholders. The role involves assessing and enhancing systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes. It supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of processes and systems aligned with the MaineHealth Strategic Plan Scorecard to translate strategic goals into tactical action plans. Additionally, the specialist coaches and advises care team members on continuous improvement.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Lead Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt preferred.
  3. Experience: One year of healthcare experience preferred. Experience with strategic alignment, process improvement, change management methods, project facilitation, team building, organization/leadership development, employee engagement, or related roles required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Skilled at facilitating group processes, building teams, and transferring knowledge and skills. Ability to handle medium to large-scale projects involving multiple resources over many months.
