Your contribution!

The Construction Mechanical Manager supports project planning, supervises daily contractor activities, and ensures compliance with HSE and QA / QC standards. They monitor progress, manage risks, and report to the Senior Construction Site Manager to maintain efficient site operations.

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Support the Project team during pre-construction in developing the project execution plan, project configuration, engineering design, and contracting.
  • Participate in developing and preparing on-site construction QA / QC plans and reporting.

Site Management (Reporting to Senior Construction Site Manager)

  • Supervise daily contractor activities and inspect work for efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor progress and assist in risk mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

  • Monitor HSE policies and procedures of contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Monitor defects, non-conformities, and testing procedures as per QA / QC plans.
  • Identify and report potential risks and emergencies promptly.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy project construction or management of civil infrastructure.
  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with large, complex multidisciplinary projects; EPC experience preferred.
  • Team-oriented, organized, detail-focused, and proactive.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy construction processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French and Spanish are assets.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
