Job description

We are seeking Educational Assistant in the Youbou area for the 2025 - 2026 school year for IN-HOME support.

In-Home Opportunity - Fridays 9:00 - 3:00

Summary of Position

As the EA, you will play a vital role in carrying out pre-planned lessons and life skills activities tailored to your students' unique needs. Your dedication will support therapy follow-up, engage students in home learning activities and virtual programming, and involve collaboration with therapists, a home learning support teacher, parents, and our Inclusive Education Coordinator. The role includes outdoor education components. A compassionate and flexible approach is essential, as the children have various learning and behavioral needs.

Qualifications, Experience, Credentials, and Skills

Experience and/or EA certification is highly valued, demonstrating a foundation in supporting students with diverse needs. We also welcome candidates with strong interest, relevant experience, or training, and a willingness to learn. Candidates should embody Christian values, and possess empathy, flexibility, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm. Experience with school-aged children and special needs is advantageous but not mandatory.

Requirements

First Aid with CPR Level C and AED are required.

Remuneration
