An innovative educational institution is looking for a compassionate Educational Assistant to support students in their home and community. This role involves implementing tailored lessons and life skills activities, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and therapists, and making a positive impact on children's development. In-Home / Community Opportunity - Flexible hours, up to 6 hours per day.
As an EA, you will implement pre-planned lessons and life skills activities tailored to your students' unique needs. Your role is vital in assisting with therapy follow-up, engaging students in home learning activities and virtual programs, and collaborating with a team of therapists, teachers, parents, and our Special Education Coordinator. A compassionate and adaptable approach is essential to support children with various learning and behavioral needs, ensuring a positive impact on their development.
Experience and/or EA certification is highly valued, demonstrating a strong foundation in supporting students with diverse needs. Candidates with relevant experience, training, or a strong interest in this field are encouraged to apply. We seek individuals who embody Christian values, are empathetic, flexible, creative, patient, and enthusiastic. While experience working with school-aged children and those with special needs is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
First Aid with CPR Level C certification is required.
