Job description

Job Title: Business Manager - Non-Profit Organization / Executive Director, Association

This position involves managing various duties related to the operation of a non-profit organization, with responsibilities that may include overseeing organizational activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Location: 23 Earnscliffe Avenue, Wolfville, NS B4P 1X4

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid work setting (both in-person and remote)

Salary: $30.75 to $33.25 per hour, 37.5 hours/week (to be negotiated)

Responsibilities:
  • Manage organizational operations and staff
  • Develop and implement organizational policies
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and community partners
  • Oversee financial management and fundraising efforts
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (1-2 years) in public relations, advertising, communication, or organizational management
  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar role
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, social media, and MS Windows; excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; strong leadership and ethics
