Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled & compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Acute and Critical Care team at the Chinook Regional Hospital in sunny, Lethbridge, Alberta. The Chinook Regional Hospital features a 20-bed ICU, a 16-bed level 2+ NICU, an 11-bed Pediatric unit, a level 3 trauma center, an active OR, and multiple inpatient units. As a Respiratory Therapist I at CRH, you will provide respiratory care across all supported areas, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to diagnose and manage patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary disorders. You will participate in education, process improvement, maintain professional practice, advocate for patients, and support respiratory equipment.
The current rotation is a 50/50 split between 11.08-hour day and night shifts.
Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and manage diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. You will collaborate with clinical teams, provide training, and educate patients and families about diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments.
