Position Available : Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)

Location : Northern Territories, Canada – Remote Camp Sites

Rotation : 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (Summer Contract)

At Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. (AMS) , our Industrial Medical Division provides onsite emergency response and occupational health services to remote industrial clients. This summer, we’re hiring skilled Advanced Care Paramedics to join our elite team supporting industrial camps in Northern Canada.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

As an Industrial Advanced Care Paramedic, you will provide 24 / 7 emergency medical coverage and health surveillance at remote industrial sites such as mines, construction zones, and exploration camps. You will work autonomously or as part of a site medical team, ensuring safety and care for all personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide advanced life support and emergency care during on-site incidents.

Conduct initial triage and coordinate medical evacuations when required.

Monitor and manage work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.

Maintain accurate documentation and report incidents per client standards.

Conduct daily health checks and promote preventative health practices.

Support site safety teams in emergency preparedness drills and health protocols.

Ensure medical equipment and supplies are regularly checked and maintained.

Foster a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

• ACP Certification – Valid and in good standing
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
• Current Medical and Immunization Records

BONUS IF YOU HAVE :

• Occupational Health or Industrial Worksite Experience
• Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ITLS, PHTLS, H2S Alive, WHMIS, CSTS, First Aid
• Experience with Medevac coordination or emergency transport
• Familiarity with satellite communications or remote charting systems
