Reporting to the Team Lead, Inspection, the Waterjet Stripping Technician is responsible for the setup and operation of the CNC Waterjet Stripping machine. This machine will be used to remove various coatings from metallic industrial gas turbine components.
This position will potentially require the candidate to work on a shift rotation including day shift and evening shift.
Candidates with industry and job experience related to coating removal from aerospace or gas turbine components are preferred for this role. Candidates who have experience programming and operating waterjet stripping machines and/or FANUC robotics equipment are preferred for this role.
The minimum training and/or educational requirement for this role is 5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience that allows the individual to adequately perform the role, determined by the Team Lead, Inspection.
