We are seeking a Manager, Payroll to join the Human Resources team who will be responsible for all operations related to payroll. You will manage all aspects of payroll payments to employees in a timely and accurate manner within the legislative requirements. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources Operations you will be accountable for the ongoing review of payroll procedures, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement. You will act as an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) champion to ensure consideration is given to EDI in all areas of work.

Whether you hold a post-secondary credential such as Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related field, or have the equivalency of 5+ years’ experience in payroll processing, accounting, pension or relevant area, we encourage you to apply. The PCP or PLP designation is required. Experience with PeopleSoft and working in a unionized environment is definitely an asset. Additionally, possessing strong leadership, business acumen, adept diplomatic relationship management, collaborative abilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
