Our Exciting Opportunity :

People and Culture Leader-Americas

We are seeking a dynamic People and Culture Leader based in our Montreal location. This role will be part of our exciting spinoff. Global leaders redefine telecom industry with network APIs - Ericsson. As a part of a highly collaborative people function, you will be hands-on, operational and be highly strategic. Your involvement in the business and most importantly the people that make the business happen will enable your growth and involvement in being an architect of our people function. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership on our amazing journey always having your finger on the pulse of our people. You will actively collaborate with leaders and employees to shape an energized, transparent, and supportive organizational culture, drive employee engagement, and implement strategies that reflect and grow our values and culture. This will be both a highly operational role involved in the day-to-day resolution of issues and support for people programs and highly involved in the development of people programs supporting the business. Initially this role will be an individual contributor. Because you will come at the beginning of our journey, we anticipate that the growth opportunities to be endless. This will be a hybrid role- 50% remote-but you must be willing to spend time in the office with our people.

You will :

  • Collaborating with the people team to develop and implement people policies and procedures that support a growing global organization with big objectives.
  • Working with recruitment sourcing methodologies to fill roles with talent that complements our culture and grows our capabilities.
  • Management of local vendors providing people services such as payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of comprehensive onboarding and training programs to support employee development and retention.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in addressing employee relations issues and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Act as part of the local leadership team and collaborate with local leadership on employee events
  • Assist in analyzing HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with compliance on ethics reporting / whistleblower reporting

To be successful in the role you must have :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Bi-lingual English and French (Quebec French)
  • 5-7 years minimum of experience in HR ideally in a global environment.
  • Ability to cultivate and build relationships, adapting interpersonal skills to various audiences.
  • Operational capability to prioritize needs daily.
  • Analytic capability to be utilized with a variety of people related metrics and total rewards projects.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
  • Limited travel-estimated at 10%
  • You don’t need to know all the answers-just be willing to help find them
